What Toldo is

Toldo builds an assistant for your business through a conversation. You describe what you do; it asks the follow-up questions, puts the assistant together while you talk, and shows you what it has understood as it goes. There is nothing to install and nothing to write.

What your assistant does

Once it knows your business, an assistant can:

• Answer questions from the facts you gave it and the documents you shared.
• Take details — an enquiry, a booking request, an order — and save them in a list for you.
• Hand a conversation over to you when it cannot help, when someone asks for a person, or when someone is upset.
• Do something in your own systems, if you give it an address to call: look up an order, start a workflow in a tool you already use.
• Read a public web page a person links to, if you switch that on.

It only ever has the abilities you gave it. An assistant with no documents has nothing to search, so it cannot invent a search result.

What it will not do

Your facts go in word for word, which is why the hours it quotes are your hours. But the sentences around them are written fresh each time, and no assistant is right every time. That is what the hand-over is for: a conversation it cannot handle should reach you, not get a guess.

Where it can live

A published assistant always has a share link and can be added to your website as a chat bubble — both with no setup. Telegram you can connect yourself. Slack and Microsoft Teams need the people running Toldo to set the connection up first; until they do, those cards say so plainly. And your own software can talk to it directly.

Texting, WhatsApp, Instagram, email and phone calls are not supported. Not “coming soon” — not supported. See Where your assistant can live.

What it costs you to start

Nothing, and no account, until you publish. You can build an assistant and talk to it as a guest; your drafts stay with your browser until you make an account. Daily limits apply to everyone (they are what keeps the service running for the next person), and you will be told plainly when you reach one.
