Your account

You only need an account when you are ready to publish. Everything before that works as a guest.

Signing in

Depending on how this Toldo is set up, you can sign in with Google, with an email address and password, or both. The sign-in card only offers what is actually available.

If you sign in with Google and later use the same email address with a password — or the other way round — it is the same account. They join on the verified email address.

Your details

The account page has your name, your password and your sign-in history.

• Name — how you appear in Toldo.
• Password — changing it signs out every other session, so a borrowed laptop stops being a problem the moment you change it. An account created with Google can set a password without proving an old one; an account that already has one must give the current password.
• Recent sign-ins — when, how (password, Google, or your very first sign-up), roughly where (a country) and roughly what (something like “Chrome · macOS”). No addresses, no full device details.

There is also a way to sign out everywhere at once.

Daily limits

Toldo counts conversation turns per day — building, previewing, and replies from your live assistants. You can see what you have left, and the counters reset at midnight UTC. Guests get a smaller allowance than account holders, which is one of the reasons to make an account.

If your live assistant reaches its daily limit, people talking to it are told politely to try again tomorrow. They are never shown anything about Toldo’s own capacity.

Deleting your account

You can delete everything. Type your own email address to confirm — the dialog asks, and so does the service behind it, so a mis-click cannot do it.

Deleting removes your assistants and everything in them. Two things are worth knowing first:

• An assistant you shared with a team is handled with the team in mind rather than simply vanishing from under your colleagues.
• If you are the only owner of a team, deletion is refused until you make someone else an owner or delete the team. The account page tells you before you confirm.
